Lace up your shoes, hop on your bike, or just come and learn about ways to be healthy at the Sharks inaugural “Fitness Faceoff: Run/Ride/Health” charity event presented by Silver Creek Sportsplex, which will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2013. Participants can either choose to run/walk our 5k/10k course through downtown San Jose or set out on a 20+/50+ mile bike ride around the city.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE: If you have difficulty with the Hicks Rd. climb (Cat 3), we will be offering a free shuttle service from the bottom of Hicks Rd. to the top.**
Riders who are not at the intersection of Bernal Rd. and Monterey Hwy. (mile 34) by 11 a.m. will be diverted to turn left on Monterey Hwy. and forgo the final two climbs (Silver Creek Valley Rd & Hassler Pkwy). The total mileage of this detoured route would be 45 miles.
