MESSAGE TO FANS

We are extremely pleased to confirm the news that the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association have come to terms on the framework for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. We know the past four months have not been easy, and we want to sincerely apologize for any hardship that this regrettable process has caused. Thankfully, we can now look forward to dropping the puck.
While we await formal ratification of the CBA by the NHL Players' Association and the NHL Board of Governors, it is expected that we will have a 48 game regular season, which will include 24 games at HP Pavilion, followed by a complete Stanley Cup Playoffs. We anticipate that the official schedule will be released later this week. You can also refer to SJSHARKS.com for updates.
Most importantly, we want to sincerely and humbly thank you for your patience, support and loyalty throughout these past four months. Our organization and our players fully recognize that without you, the fans, there would be no NHL and no San Jose Sharks. We have never taken your support for granted.
We all love the game of hockey. Now, it's time we get back to what we all do best. Despite this unfortunate delay to the start of the season, our commitment remains steadfast to win the Stanley Cup and bring it home to Sharks Territory. We can't wait to see you back at HP Pavilion.
