"Classic Rock KFOX 98.5 / 102.1" is the flagship station of the San Jose Sharks Radio Network, and airs all Sharks regular season and Stanley Cup playoff games.
Owned and operated by Entercom Communications (NYSE: ETM), Sharks Radio Network flagship station coverage runs throughout the 9-County Bay Area from Santa Rosa to Santa Cruz, either on the 98.5 frequency in San Jose or the 102.1 frequency in San Francisco.
Make sure that you tune in to Classic Rock KFOX's entire broadcast day. Wake up from 5:30 to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday with Annalisa, leading up to KFOX Commercial Free from 9am – Noon. Bay Area Radio Hall of Famer Laurie Roberts joins you from 10 am – 3pm, and then you can drive right up to Sharks hockey with Big Rick Stuart from 3 pm to 7 pm. With the two frequencies at 98.5 and 102.1 blanketing the region, KFOX is the Bay Area’s first classic rock superstation.

OUTSIDE THE PACIFIC TIME ZONE IN REGULAR SEASON: During the regular season, there are a limited number of occasions in which the Sharks play between Monday and Friday outside the Pacific Time Zone. In these instances, KFOX will not carry the complete Sharks Warm-Up pre-game show, beginning coverage with the “Coach’s Chalkboard” program. You’ll still be able to listen to the entire Sharks Warm-Up program on a Sharks Radio Network affiliate station.
OUTSIDE THE PACIFIC TIME ZONE IN THE PLAYOFFS: In the playoffs, the entire Sharks Warm-Up program always airs on Classic Rock KFOX.
KGMZ 95.7 FM “THE GAME": The Bay Area’s only FM sports station is KFOX’s sister station, also owned and operated by Entercom Communications. With an all-sports lineup, including Oakland Athletics baseball, there are lots of opportunities for Sharks fans to listen to NHL-related conversation, including the times that the station broadcasts their shows from HP Pavilion.
