For over 10 years, youth hockey players from Northern California (10 and under) have graced the ice and have had the rare opportunity to skate on the same surface as NHL players through the PlayStation Future Sharks program. The Future Sharks program gives NORCAL youth hockey clubs the chance to showcase their talent at home games throughout the Sharks season.

Participating clubs can dress up to 12 skaters and two goalies in a 6-on-6 "Shootout" during the intermission. Each team consists of six (6) skaters and one (1) goalie per side, substitutes are not allowed. Clubs will also received a limited number of game tickets for the players and their guests courtesy of PlayStation and the Sharks.
