Twitter Tales: #AnotherShootout
A recap of the San Jose Sharks 5-4 defeat in a shootout to the Buffalo Sabres as it played out on twitter.

Frustration hit Tuesday in San Jose when a visiting Buffalo Sabres came into town carrying a less than stellar record. The Sabres stretched the Sharks to a shootout, despite two comebacks by Teal and gave San Jose its third consecutive loss (all coming in overtime or a shootout). So here's the regular run of things on twitter with hope that things don't end quite as sour as this on Thursday.

Anybody else have those new google glasses?

This whole superior performance by Western teams is just setting the odds at a scary angle. #DontJinxIt

And your random video of the day letting you know about Sharks celebrity crushes.

Here's an easy quiz from Brodie.

The popular shirt that Brent Burns wore during his 'Buzz Cut for Charity' on Friday was available in the Sharks Store starting Tuesday.

The bad guys.

Again, you can't afford to focus on the record/paper in this league and every player or coach will admit that.

First Period

Man, the Sabres get slammed in the media.

Goal time!

A serious note.

Chirps.

Happy Birthday Matt Nieto.

Second Period

Wish we could skip this period.

Opposing goaltenders showing up big against the Sharks continues to be a thing.

The Sharks also showed mobility, puck movement, chances on the power play...

But no goals.

Sabres grab another goal, lead 2-1 and Niemi's play of the puck outside of the net causes a scare.

Third Period

But then a Sabres power play makes it 3-1 Buffalo.

Cue Mr. Kennedy.

Jumbo, what a leader!

But Sharks say one comeback isn't good enough. Why not more.

Cue Tommy Wingels.

About this time was when a lot of tweets and many with pictures as evidence supporting the comments were sent regarding a call that might have incorrectly continued the game as a result of no goal being scored.

The other guys are a little more excited for this.
