Wrenn Named ECHL All-Star

Sharks prospect William Wrenn (2nd Round, 43rd overall in 2009) has been selected to play in the 2013 ECHL All-Star Game. The 21-year old defenseman is playing his first season in the ECHL for the Alaska Aces. Wrenn is currently fourth among first-year defenseman with 16 points (5-11=16).
Wrenn is one of nine rookies selected to play in the All-Star game that will take place at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
A season ago, Wrenn captained the WHL's Portland Winterhawks to finals for the Ed Chynoweth Cup, falling in seven games to the Edmonton Oil Kings.
