Sharks Re-Sign Forward Brandon Mashinter

SAN JOSE, California – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has re-signed forward Brandon Mashinter to a one-year contract. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In 2011-12, Mashinter played 65 games for Worcester, posting 33 points (16 goals, 17 assists) and 67 penalty minutes. He finished the season tied for second on the team in goals (16), fourth in points (33) and recorded two Gordie Howe hat-tricks on Dec. 30 and Feb. 4.
The six-foot-four, 230-pound native of Bradford, Ontario was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on March 3, 2009.
