Sharks Foundation "Mystery Puck" Online Auction
Fans Can Bid on A Collection of Mystery Pucks Until June 10
Throughout each season, the Sharks Foundation commemorates select holidays by producing uniquely designed "Mystery Pucks." The Sharks Foundation is offering fans a second opportunity to obtain the puck or player autograph they may have missed out on during the regular season. From now until June 10, fans can place a bid on one of six complete Mystery Pucks collections by visiting the Sharks Foundation's NHL Auctions webpage. Each puck features the signature of a premier Sharks player. ABOUT THE SHARKS FOUNDATION
The Sharks Foundation positively impacts the community in two ways: (1) implements effective programs that enhance the lives of youth and families and (2) raises funds and redistributes the money back into the community.
This year alone, our literacy program has helped over 25,000 students learn about the importance of reading. During the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, the Sharks Foundation will be able to provide close to $1 million in support to local organizations. Since its inception in 1994, the Sharks Foundation has donated more than $5.7 million to more than 100 non-profit groups in Santa Clara County. In all, the Sharks Foundation supports tens of thousands of people each year.
