Valentine\'s Day Jerseys and Mystery Pucks Fundraisers on February 8th and 10th


SAN JOSE, California – Two fan favorite fundraisers will be held in celebration of Valentine’s Day. On Wed., Feb. 8th vs. Calgary and Fri., Feb. 10 vs. Chicago, Valentine’s Day Practice Jerseys and Valentine’s Day Mystery Pucks will be available to benefit the Sharks Foundation.

Jersey Auction
On Feb. 2nd prior to the Sharks/Dallas Stars game, San Jose Sharks players wore one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day jerseys during the morning skate at HP Pavilion. The jerseys were autographed by the respective players and will be sold via blind auction at the Sharks Foundation booth, located at the North Entrance East Side Stairs. These auctions will close by the end of the first intermission.
The Sharks Foundation will continue to host an online jersey auction for those fans who will not be in attendance. This link will be available on the Sharks Foundation website by Feb. 8. Mystery Pucks

Mystery Pucks featuring SJ Sharkie will be available on the concourse level of the North and South Entrances of HP Pavilion. Every puck is guaranteed to be signed by a player from the 2011-12 team and will be individually wrapped so the player's identity remains a surprise until after purchase. During each sale a select number of pucks will be labeled "WINNER" and the lucky fans who select these pucks will win additional prizes.
Because of the popularity of this fundraiser, fans are encouraged to arrive early, as most have sold out well before the start of the game. Pucks are just $20 each and net proceeds will benefit this season's Sharks Foundation Grant Recipients and community programming. All proceeds will benefit the Sharks Foundation. The Sharks Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth and families in our community with an emphasis in the areas of Education, Heath and Safety, and Character Development. The Sharks Foundation supplies emergency aid when appropriate, executes unique and relevant programming, supports the advancement of youth hockey and provides financial support and resources to organizations that enrich the lives of those in need. Although the San Jose Sharks and the Sharks Foundation support a variety of community programs on various levels, we feel that the key to the long-term well-being of our community is our youth.
