McLaren, Moore Assigned to Worcester
Left Wing and Defenseman will Join San Jose's Top AHL Affiliate

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Mike Moore and left wing Frazer McLaren to the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate.
Moore has played in three games for San Jose registering one goal and five penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 19 against the Carolina Hurricanes and scored his first career NHL goal on Nov. 17 at Colorado. In five games with Worcester this season, he has three points (two goals, one assist).
Moore spent the last three seasons with Worcester, amassing 40 points (8-32=40) and 230 penalty minutes in 143 games.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Calgary, Alberta was signed by San Jose as a free agent on April 8, 2008.
McLaren has played in nine games for San Jose where he has racked up 22 penalty minutes.
In 2009-10, McLaren played in 23 games for San Jose, posting six points (one goal, five assists) and 54 penalty minutes. He played in 52 games in Worcester, scoring 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) while amassing 148 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound native of Winnipeg, Manitoba was selected in the 7th round (203rd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
