San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Benn Ferriero from the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
Ferriero is Worcester’s leading scorer with this season (T-16th in AHL) with 11 points (seven goals, four assists) and four penalty minutes in nine games.
In 24 career NHL games, all with San Jose, Ferriero has posted five points (two goals, three assists) and four penalty minutes.
