Many NHL fans join their teams by growing a beard during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but the fervor of San Jose fans is unmatched as they boycott using razors in support of their Sharks.
In the second annual Beard-a-Thon, hundreds of Sharks Fans have “grown one for the team” and cheered on the San Jose Sharks in their journey to the Stanley Cup. By the midpoint of the Western Conference Semifinals, fans have already raised $6,985 for the Sharks Foundation.
It’s not too late! Fans are encouraged to sign up to grow a playoff beard or pledge their favorite beard grower at www.beardathon.com/sharks. Support the Sharks Foundation today!
All contributions to the Sharks Beard-a-Thon are tax deductible.
