Fedun, 26, recorded 38 points (10-28=38) and 51 penalty minutes in 65 games during the 2013-14 season with Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League. He ranked second amongst Barons defensemen in points, goals and assists and added one assist and four penalty minutes in three Calder Cup Playoff games. Fedun made his NHL debut with Edmonton last season and registered two goals in four games with the Oilers.
Fedun has collected 65 points (18-47=65) and 81 penalty minutes in 135 AHL games with Oklahoma City and was named an alternate captain in 2013-14. He spent four seasons with Princeton University, recording 68 points (20-48=68) in 127 games, and earned several collegiate honors, including: two ECAC All-Academic Team honors (2008-09), ECAC Champion (2008), ECAC Second All-Star Team honors (2010), NCAA (East) Second All-American Team honors (2011), ECAC First All-Star Team honors (2011) and was named the Princeton captain his season year (2011).
The six-foot, 198-pound native of Edmonton, Alberta, originally signed with Edmonton as an undrafted free agent on March 8, 2011.
