Sharks Announce 2014 Preseason Schedule

Sharks Host Three Games at SAP Center and Host One Game in Stockton

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today their preseason schedule for the 2014-15 campaign. The Sharks currently have seven preseason games scheduled, including three at SAP Center at San Jose and an additional "home" game in Stockton, CA.

The Sharks will play a split-squad game on September 23, 2014, against the Vancouver Canucks. The games will be split between Stockton Arena in Stockton, CA, home of the ECHL's Stockton Thunder, and Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.

Stockton Arena, which opened in 2005, boasts a hockey seating capacity of 10,000 fans. The Stockton Thunder finished the 2013-14 season ranked 11th in the ECHL in attendance, drawing 172,000 fans during the regular season.

98.5/102.1 FM KFOX and the Sharks Radio Network will broadcast the final two games of the preseason, Oct. 3 at Arizona and Oct. 4 at Anaheim. Radio coverage will begin with the popular 30-minute pre-game show, "Sharks Warm-Up," followed by another popular segment, "Coach's Chalkboard," and the game broadcast.
