SAN JOSE, Calif. -
Members of the San Jose Sharks and San Jose Earthquakes will attempt to capture the spirit of the Winter Olympic Games by squaring off in a curling match tomorrow, Feb. 20 at Sharks Ice at San Jose at approximately 1:30 p.m.
The match will take place on Sharks Ice's Center Rink and is open to the public and media.
Curling has become one of the Winter Olympics most popular sports and Sharks Ice is home to the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC), which curls out of all three Sharks Ice Locations. SFBACC, which currently boasts approximately 150 members, runs leagues, classes, learn-to-curl clinics, and instructs all our corporate events year round.
The Sharks will practice at 11 a.m. tomorrow on Sharks Ice's South Rink. Sharks Ice is located at 1500 S. 10th Street in San Jose.
