It was an enjoyable night at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos for the Sharks Corporate Partner and Suite Owner Bocce Night. About one hundred Corporate Partners and Suite Owners were in attendance for the friendly bocce tournament where food, beverages and bocce were plentiful.
A number of Sharks celebrities were on hand including Doug Wilson, Todd McLellan, Larry Robinson, Jim Johnson, Jay Woodcroft, Mike Ricci, Joe Will, Wayne Thomas, S.J. Sharkie and broadcasters Jamie Baker, Randy Hahn, Drew Remenda, and Dan Rusanowsky.
The tournament field was split into twelve teams with hockey staff and broadcasters serving as team captains for each team. In the end, Team Baker claimed the title defeating Team Ricci by one point.
Each member of the winning team won an autographed Sharks jersey while second place winners each received two tickets to a future Sharks game and a $100 Gift Certificate to The Grill at HP Pavilion. Team Will, led by Assistant General Manager Joe Will, placed third with each member winning a $50 Gift Certificate to Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria.
Team Wilson, led by Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson, claimed the “Bocce Winter Classic” consolation title in a friendly matchup on the outdoor courts.
