Here is The Daily Chomp's Monday Mailbag answering your questions sent in by Twitter (tweet @SanJoseSharks using #AskSJS), Facebook, or email.
This week, The Daily Chomp spoke with Sharks forwards Daniel Winnik and Torrey Mitchell to answer your fan questions.
What was your first thought when you heard you where coming to the San Jose Sharks?
-Matt A.
Daniel Winnik: I was excited. They are a Stanley Cup contender every year and one thing that I was looking forward to doing was getting back in the post-season. To do that we have to make that push starting the next couple of weeks.
Torrey Mitchell: It was a dream come true. You work your entire life to get to that point, so it was exciting, fun, and nerve-racking all at once.
Who would you say is the biggest prankster on the team?
-Ryan M.
Daniel Winnik: I haven’t been able to figure it out yet but I hear there are always three culprits – Pavs, Jumbo, and Boyle. So far I’ve been safe and been able to avoid any tricks being played on me.
Torrey Mitchell: I would probably say me, Demers or Pavelski. Pavs and I have been involved in a lot of pranks together.
What kind of music is played in the locker room? Do you like it?
-Gracie F.
Daniel Winnik: I actually started to do the music when I got here. I mix it up with everything - Dance, Hip Hop, Rock, you name it. Dan Boyle did it before me and after our meeting he relinquished the duties to me. I haven’t heard any complaints so far on my choices.
Torrey Mitchell: Every type of music is played here in the locker room. Boyle picks heavy metal because he’s big into that stuff. Our new music guy, Daniel Winnik, picks every type of music and everyone enjoys it.
