Sharks head coach Todd McLellan told members of the media that left wing Ryane Clowe will be out of the lineup on Tuesday night against the Flames. CSN California beat writer Kevin Kurz reports on Sharks center Andrew Desjardins' recovery from an illegal check to the head that saw the offending player -- Blue Jackets forward Dane Byers -- receive a three-game suspension on Monday afternoon. Desjardins will miss his second game due to injury related to the hit.

HANNAN ACTIVATED OFF IR, SET TO FACE HIS FORMER TEAM
Calgary Sun writer Randy Sportak reported Monday that Flames defenseman (and former Sharks blueliner) Scott Hannan appears primed for a return to the lineup. The team announced on Tuesday afternoon that Hannan will indeed make his return to the lineup tonight.
