Desjardins Faces NHL Hearing

**UPDATE at 2:15 PM Pacific** The National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced Monday that it has fined Desjardins $2,500.
According to NHL.com, Sharks center Andrew Desjardins will have an NHL supplementary discipline hearing Monday afternoon for an incident that occurred during Sunday night's game against Chicago.
At 2:12 of the first period, Desjardins was assessed a two-minute minor for boarding Chicago's Sami Lepisto. TSN.ca is reporting that the hearing is scheduled with NHL Senior Vice President of Player Safety, Brendan Shanahan.
