With the Sharks and the Stars set to face each other on Thursday night at HP Pavilion at San Jose, here are the links you need to read before the game:

RIVALRY RENEWED, UNTIL REALIGNMENT
CSN California beat writer Kevin Kurz reports on the budding Sharks-Stars rivalry that has just five remaining meetings, the first of three this season at HP Pavilion coming tonight, before conference realignment kicks in for the 2012-13 NHL campaign. FISTRIC SUSPENDED, BARCH TRADED
Goligoski's return will certainly help offset the loss of defenseman Mark Fistric, who was suspended by the NHL for three games for a charging incident last Saturday against the New York Islanders. In other news enforcer Krys Barch, who fought both Jim Vandermeer and Ryane Clowe back on Nov. 19, was traded to the Florida Panthers on Wednesday.
