Former Jr. Shark and Bay Area native Casey Wellman will play his first game in San Jose on Tuesday night against Marc-Edouard Vlasic and the San Jose Sharks.

With the Sharks and the Wild set to face each other on Tuesday night at HP Pavilion at San Jose, here are the links you need to read before the game:

DOUGLAS MURRAY OUT
Sharks head coach Todd McLellan told the media this morning that defenseman Douglas Murray will not be available tonight, and that goaltender Antti Niemi will be in net.

BRAUN RECALLED
Sharks GM Doug Wilson announced Tuesday that the club has recalled defenseman Justin Braun from the Worcester Sharks. Braun will fill in for Murray on a defensive corps looking to imrpove on a less-than-stellar performance on Saturday night.

WELLMAN'S BAY AREA DEBUT
Wild beat writer Michael Russo with a great feature on Bay Area native Casey Wellman. The former Jr. Shark has deep Bay Area sports roots, starting with his father Brad Wellman, a former professional baseball player who made his MLB debut as a member of the San Francisco Giants in 1982. Ironically, Wellman was a college teammate of Sharks defenseman Justin Braun.
