Good morning, Sharks fans! We are very excited to debut the Sharks Blog, a new format for bringing you up-to-date news and notes about the San Jose Sharks and the National Hockey League.

My name is Alex Aragon and I'm the Digital Media Manager for the Sharks. I will be joining broadcasters Randy Hahn, Drew Remenda, Dan Rusanowsky and Jamie Baker on this new format and will weigh in each week on everything Sharks hockey.

One of the best things about the blogging format is how collaborative and fresh the content is. While we see most of the content featuring members of the Sharks organization that is created each day, we know we are missing many of the things fans like you find interesting. This is where we need your help.

We've setup a tip line that you can email 24 hours a day with anything interesting that you may find. The email address is web@sjsharks.com. If we haven't seen it and feature it, we'll be sure to give you a tip of the hat, so be sure to let us know who you are and where you're from.

Finally, we will be launching a contest later this month for Sharks fans to name this new blog. We have not finalized all of the details, but no need to wait, be sure to send your winning blog name to the tip line right away. We'll talk to you soon and as always, Go Sharks Go.
