A 1991 draft selection by the San Jose Sharks, Sandis Ozolinsh was part of the historic group that led the franchise to its first ever playoff run in 1993-94. After fighting to stay healthy in his rookie campaign, Ozolinsh exploded with what would arguably be his best statistical season of his career. The Latvian native known for the offensive skills he brought to the game played four seasons in San Jose before a trade sent him to Colorado as part of a deal for Owen Nolan. Ozolinsh returned to the Sharks in 2007-08 where he registered 16 points in his final 39 games in the NHL.
